Tiny&Close
Tiny&Close represents an in-depth portrait of an apparently superfluous insect: the fly. It stands symbolically for the restless, nonsensical and useless. No other animal comes as close to us as the fly: it lives in the same room, has similar preferences and eats from the same plate.
The installation describes why we should be fascinated rather than disturbed or even disgusted by this insect. It illustrates the close relationship that connects us with these small, flying creatures. Because in the of our days, the maggots will eat us.
