The Pantry

A walk-in room installation evokes the emotions associated with the food and creates a world of emotions in which all senses are addressed:
A piece of bacon, jars of jam, preserves, canned food, pickled and fresh vegetables or fruit create the typical pantry-smell and draw attention to them. In the background, voices talk in interviews about mouldy ten-litre pickle jars, heaps of sand with carrots, or the memories of this mysterious, forbidden place which is usually inaccessible to strangers.
